Prima Bella also offers, in their menu of pack styles, both cobs and cobettes to fulfill the needs of year-round fresh sweet corn. They can do this because of their long-standing relationships with their growers.
Prima Bella is conveniently situated in Tracy, California. We are in the Central San Joaquin Valley in Northern California and close to the San Francisco Bay Area. Our convenient northern California location makes it possible for Prima Bella to load trucks with destinations of Salinas, Los Angeles or Yuma, Arizona daily, even the San Francisco Bay Area.
Cobs and Cobettes are also available in white, yellow and bi-color and have the same shelf life as our retail tray pack of 17 days when kept at temperatures of 34-36 degrees. The extended shelf life is possible due to the sophisticated, controlled atmosphere packaging which is tested at Prima Bella specifically for corn. We call this pack style "Bag in the Box". Because of this "Bag in the Box" pack style there is no "Top Ice". "No Top Ice" means less weight saves on freight. Prima Bella also offers the corn wrapped in foil ready to roast, steam, or BBQ called their Guadalajara Style. The same 17 day shelf life at 34-36 degrees on this product as well. We will even include the stick in the box if you need them! Orders for our food service items need a 48 hour lead time.
